Given the hero turn we'd given Harley Quinn in the first Injustice game, I knew I wanted Harley's ladder ending to end on a positive note.
Inspired by Tom Taylor's great work in the Injustice Gods Among Us: Year One comic series, I focused on Harley's desire to build a relationship with her lost daughter, Lucy.
In the ladder ending, Harley's need to be a meaningful part of Lucy's life becomes the foundation upon which she builds her future rehabilitation.
